JDGAF has been sitting unworked for quite some time now, but we’re back in the swing of things. Picking up where the story left off with Tiv and Thules on their day out. Links below for a refresher.

Will be posting another on Friday of this week, already finished and edited. Have more in the works for the following week. So, keep an eye out for more of those strange characters.

JG out.

Some time ago I was hired by Run Amok Productions to create a number of quarter page, grayscale illustrations for an upcoming RPG book. Now that the book has been published, I can share both the images and the link for purchase. This is a D20 based book, so can be used with a number of games, predominantly D&D.

Alvaro Snegg & the Bellringer Brothers

AlvarroSnegg   BellringerBros

Alvaro Snegg is a formerly living spell caster, who died and became a creature that is composed almost entirely of writhing worms. His present form makes him nearly unbeatable in physical combat. A trait which the Bellringer’s, a pair of pit fighting champion brothers, have been using to their advantage.

Captain Ahbram and the Freebooters of the Cacophonous Chantey

CaptAbhram   Freebooters

A ship containing a monstrous beast deep within it’s holds, teeming with a crew of deranged madmen, and Captained by a vicious cutthroat of the pirating seas.

Matsuyo and her Snow Yeti Twins

Matsuyo   SnowYetis

Matusyo is the spirit of a deceased samurai warrioress, who is revered as a god of sorts by a pair of brutally loyal twin yeti sisters. The trio exist in the cold snow covered mountains, and guard their territory fiercely.

Boughbrother and the Satyr Slayers

Boughbrother   SatyrSlayers

Boughbrother is a treant who has been driven to maddened bloodlust by the intrusion of humans into his forests. Along with the merciless band of Satyr slayers, he preys upon any party misfortunate enough to have caused damage to his lands.

Definitely was a fun project to work on, with a company that I look forward to creating more images for in the future. If you are interested in either downloading a sample or of acquiring the full book, simply follow the enclosed link.

I’m back! I’ve been a bit busy with work for a while and havent been around. A couple trips to Texas in the past two months (Houston and Austin) for art installations, and a number of commissions back to back.
The commissions I’ll upload as soon as I get the okay from the clients to do so. Also working on new JDGAFs and a comic for an art collection book of stories, as well as some paintings, small and large, and a number of ink drawings. The ink drawings I can share here now, because I feel like you may be going through some art withdrawals by your favorite JG.

So, be sure to scope out these new pieces, and keep an eye out for a week of various intermittent uploads.

Hair of the Cat:  1,

Well then… apparently this saved as a post but never actually posted, and I didnt realize til just posting the previous one.

Whoops. New JDGAF up tomorrow.

Also, if you’re wondering why JDGAF is now arranged like this, see the last comic I posted. More people preferred this layout as it’s “better for reading” due to being viewed larger without needing to click. So, enjoy.

Okay, So the automated update that was supposed to click over at noon,… yeah, that didn’t work. So manually updating.

Since we’re starting a new year, and because of the layout requirements on a site I share JDGAF on (Tapastic), I decided to try out a different layout approach for this week. (shown below)
I would really appreciate it if the fans out there could post and let me know which layout they prefer to view the comic in. I had started with the 4 across because I grew up on comic strips in newspapers and always enjoyed that, however I’m realizing that for sharing purposes, and even for cluttering of text, the over and under may work better. Willing to take all feedback for now before deciding which way to go. So please post on (facebook preferably), whichever space you are viewing this on and share your thoughts. Thanks.

JG

Also of note, I’ll be going back through the ones on Tapastic to re-size to these specs, as I recently realized most of them are super hard to read otherwise.
