So, first and foremost. This week I’ll be working at New York Comic Con in NYC. I’ll be at the Fanboy Collectibles booth 2937 (and selling some artwork as well.)

Also, I have my first game going through kickstarter right now. Day one and we’re already moving along toward our goal. Deathbot Derby on Kickstarter.

While I could go into all the fine details on the game, and how fun it was to make the artwork for it, you’re better off just clicking the link and checking out the reviews we’ve gotten on it as well as seeing all the ins and outs of the game itself.
It’s a lot of game in a little box, and it’s fun.
If you cant help fund it, please share the link as that gets it seen by more people who may very well be interested in turning their friend’s robots into scrap.

Last but not least, just got my copy of Caustic Comics Insane Tales From The Dead featuring my piece EveVI. There is a lot of cool stuff in this book and the print quality on it is excellent. Proud to be a part of it.

If you want to order your copy, go to www.InsaneTalesFromTheDead.com while supplies last as there are a number of limited edition covers for this book.

That’s all the updates for now. See you at NYCC, and will be working on some more cool projects on twitch after this event is over. www.Twitch.TV/JamesGroelingArt

Oops,… well, may as well make the best of it. (Also it appears that I have finally figured out how to schedule updates, there’s so much I can do in advance now. regular JDGAF!)

Well, that’s one way to wake up in the morning. Seems like Tiv, although disgruntled, is in his happy place.

It’s amazing how alcohol will open people up, lets see how this pans out shall we?

(note: I’m setting this to post at 3pm today, trying to work out these scheduled posts so I can update when I’m traveling for events and comic cons.)
(note 2: I’ll be at Boston comic con this coming weekend, and the following weekend at Mohegan Sun in CT for another comic convention. Stop by the Fanboy Collectibles booth to say hi)

Tiv seems oddly quiet around this beauty,… looks like there’s some history here,… dun dun dun. The plot thickens.
Also, I’ve decided this storyline has a bit more life to it than I had thought originally. More to come soon. (hopefully I can figure out how to properly set up timed posts)

Modern technology and the age of cat narcissism.

(Note: My technological ineptitude struck again, thought I had set a timed post for this one,… not the case. So while this is a week later than intended, you are also getting a second JDGAF post right after this one, so, doubled up.)

And that’s why little Cthulhus shouldn’t drink too much….. yuck.

Viking: Character Design Challenge 2016

Just finished for a Viking character design contest on Facebook in this group.
(To go directly to the post and give a like/comment/share, go here).
Also, if you aren’t doing so already, be sure to follow my art page on there. JG Art on FB

Fun and relatively quick piece to put together.
The concept on this one was a Viking protector, and his young charge. The girl is the future queen, and as such, is both a child, and still armed and willing to fight.
Micron line work, with acrylic paint on watercolor paper.

Have a few different things in the works at the moment, so will be updating sporadically with new things. Check back soon.

A very special All Hallows Eve from some of the locals in JDGAF city. Decided to make a special piece for what is still my favorite holiday. First a little line art for you. JDGAF_Halloween

Then, my colors, which I actually created and scanned in on different sheets of paper, all colored pencils. Sharing this one because I actually think it looks pretty interesting to see a piece of mine without the line work attached.

and finally, all of column A, plus all of column B equals,….

May your All Hallows be filled with Ghouls and Goblins, hopefully none too scary.

May not be back to updates until mid-November, as I’m leaving the area to do a sculpture install in Rhode Island. More updates when I get back.
